TIMMY TIME Review - Plus it is now on The Disney Channel!

Do you remember Shaun the sheep? Well, if you do, then here comes Timmy!!! He is the little lamb!

Timmy Time follows the adventures of Timmy, a little lamb with a lot to learn as he enters preschool. Fans of Aardman’s hit children’s series Shaun the Sheep will recognize Timmy as the baby lamb on the farm who is frequently drawn into all kinds of chaotic adventures by the mischievous older sheep. Used to having his way by being “the only lamb in the flock,” Timmy is now heading to preschool to graze on some important life lessons about playing nicely with others, namely his fellow classmates of the furry, feathered and spiky types.

You can watch the new episodes of Timmy Time on Disney Playhouse at 7 am EST.

MY THOUGHTS:
This is a really cute show. And what is so neat about it is they do not use adult dilect at all, but the show still drives across the point it is trying to make. The animals are very adorable. And my two boys (who differ in age by 5 years) liked it. They both watched the episodes multiple times. And, I am sure they will be watching it even more.

If you are a parent who is worried about foul language or material, you do not have to worry about that at all with this show. In fact, it teaches children great things.

It is a winner in my book! I am sure it will be in yours as well.

As a bonus, here is a Timmy Time cookie recipe! Enjoy!

A perfect activity for an evening in the kitchen, or in preparation for a
party, follow this simple recipe to make delicious Timmy Time cookies!

INGREDIENTS
1 egg
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup superfine sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
Sweets for decorations!

YOU WILL NEED
Large mixing bowl
Rolling pin
Saran wrap
Non-stick cookie sheet
Cooling rack
Wooden spoon,
dessert spoon, teaspoon
Cookie cutters!

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (180°C) degrees and line a baking tray with non-stick paper.

Cream the butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Add the egg and
vanilla, beat until combined.

Sift in 3/4 of the flour into the mixture and mix in well – use your hands at this stage to make it easier and more fun!

The mix should form a soft dough. If it is too sticky add a little of the remaining flour.

Continue to add flour to the mix, mixing/kneading as you go, to get it to a soft dough.

Form into a log, wrap in cling film and place in the fridge until firm for about 30 mins.

Once the dough is firm, roll it out using a rolling pin until the dough is about 1 cm thick.

Place your cookie cutter templates (see page 2) onto the dough and cut around them
to create Timmy Time-shaped cookies, pop them on a baking tray and transfer them to
the oven.

Bake for about 10 minutes (for a crunchy cookie), or 7 minutes
for a softer cookie. Leave them to cool for at least 10 minutes
before decorating.

Using squirty icing and sweets, decorate your cookies to look
like you favourite Timmy Time characters!
