My oldest son, who is 8-1/2-years-old really has enjoyed playing this. I love the fact that the colors are so bright and colorful. The design on the website was very thought out. He really enjoyed making his own "Jumpee" character. This is a virtual 3D world that kids have fun playing and they enjoy that, but I love the fact that they have to use their brain power too in thinking, math, and language skills to get them to the next level and/or next mission. It's a win-win situation if you ask me. =)
Here is a little bit more about how the game works:
You create your character or characters (up to six) called Jumpees. The players then move through a virtual world. They have a Storyland for ages 3 to 5 years old where no reading is required. Then they have Adventureland for 5 to 8 year olds where it is more of a role playing type scenario.
And they also have MathBlaster.com, a new virtual world for ages 6 to 12 years of age to help with addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, etc. All with its colorful graphics and fun included.
