Wow! With the way things were turning out this time last year, I honestly didn't think we would make it to our 10th year anniversary...but we did and that is all that matters.
Last year was a very rough year but it brought us to where we are today - together and happy.
I have learned that marriage is something that needs to be worked on on a daily basis. You can do simple things that mean a lot to someone - help them with a project that they have been working on, grabbing their hand when you are walking in a store, or just basically actually listening to them when they are talking ot you - all so simple to do, yet they usually have huge outcomes.
I read somewhere that the divorce rate would be much lower if people would put in only a small percentage into their marriage as what they put into other things, like work, hobbies, etc. And I can definitely see where that would be right.

So this was us 10 years ago - my we look young...lol...Do you ever look back at older pictures and think how times have changed and how fast they have gone by?
I am looking forward to the next 10 years of our marriage, as I think they will be the best ever. I truly have high hopes! Now we need to go and get a new family portrait done......
